Personal Aeroponic

Here is some 3D printing of the aeroponic cover. Since the Ultimaker 2+ I used was too small to print the build, I had to resign the object to print in 4 parts, connecting with wooden dowels. Ideally I would print the part as 1 piece.
Testing out an ultrasonic mister that I purchased on amazon. I was wanted to build a wooden float that would maintain contact with the water's surface at all times, to allow for misting at any time, controlled by the Arduino.
I took a class at the New York Botanical Garden during Fall 2019 because I was interested in learning about plant anatomy and biology to better inform my studies in Plant Bioacoustics. Here are some pictures from that experience. The last four pictures are from NYU Tandon's Urban Food Lab, where I volunteered, also during Fall 2019. Pictured is their aquaponic system that grows red peppers, kale, chamomile, and calendula.
